Fajr Film Festival 2019: the must-see photos of the fourth day

On Sunday, nine movies have been announced as audience picks, five days after the opening of the festival.

The audience picks included ‘6.5 Per Meter’, ‘23 People’, ‘Takhti, the World Champion’, 'Qasr-e Shirin', ‘The Warden’, ‘Midday Event: Trace of Blood’, ‘Life Hanging’, ‘Night of the Full Moon’ and ‘Oath’.

Most of those movies received extra screenings due to popular demand.

The 37th edition of the FFF kicked off on January 30, 2019, and will run until February 11 in Tehran.

The festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the 40th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran every year.
